This course is designed both as an introduction to Stand Up Paddleboarding and as a refresher course for those returning to paddling. In this course, we cover all of the fundamental skills required for enjoyable yet safe outings on calm and protected waterways. Throughout the day we teach all of the basic SUP strokes, safety information, as well as assisted and self rescue techniques. We provide all the gear (board, life vest, paddle, etc.) and you need to bring water and snacks. This course is what you need to start enjoying a lifetime of paddling fun.

Course runs 4-5 hours in length depending on the composition of the class and progress of the participants. CKAPCO may change dates of classes depending on enrollment and other events on lake Audubon.
